S7 LM

Steve Saleen built his name on Mustang modifications before proving American engineering could compete at Le Mans. The S7 first raced at Le Mans in 2006, achieving class victory and demonstrating that a small California manufacturer could build a world-class racing car from scratch. The current S7 LM takes that heritage and applies modern turbocharged power to create something extraordinary.

The 7.0L twin-turbocharged V8 was developed entirely in-house at Saleen's Irvine facility. The engine produces 1,500 hp and 1,200 lb-ft of torque — figures that rival the Bugatti Chiron and Koenigsegg Regera at a fraction of the European cars' pricing. Sequential gearbox shifts are completed in 80 milliseconds. The carbon fiber monocoque weighs just 2,900 lbs despite the massive power output.

Aerodynamics are derived directly from Saleen's Le Mans racing program. The massive rear wing generates over 4,000 lbs of downforce at 200 mph — enough to theoretically drive the car on a ceiling. Ground effect tunnels channel air under the car to create additional downforce without drag penalty. At 250+ mph the car becomes progressively more planted, not less.

With only 7 units produced annually, every S7 LM is a guaranteed appreciating asset. Saleen numbers each car sequentially and provides full factory documentation, making them immediately collectible. Competitors include the Koenigsegg Jesko, Bugatti Chiron Super Sport, and SSC Tuatara — all priced higher for equivalent or lesser performance.
